I count myself fortunate to have found Tyson Russell. Tyson is the most effective coach I’ve worked with. He has a wealth of practical experience to draw from, which he combines with an enthusiastically open mind to encourage innovative thinking and confident action. His uncanny ability to zero in on the simple reality behind seemingly complex issues has helped me to streamline the way I consider options, cut through fear and hesitation, and avoid unnecessary complications and distractions.
There is a level of insight you can only reach with a mentor who fully grasps the reasons behind the conventional methods of doing things. Tyson’s mentoring has instilled in me a deep understanding of foundational principles that serve as the base from which I can move beyond the basics toward new, creative possibilities.
Too many coaches out there rely on encouragement and chastisement – the carrot or the stick – and blame the client when they don’t reach a breakthrough. They lack the mentoring skills and actionable knowledge essential to their clients’ success. I have watched Tyson pull a wide array of mentoring tools from his kit and apply them with a master’s subtlety: I’m learning what I need before I even realize it. He listens and asks questions until he’s certain that he’s clear about what I’m asking or where I’m stuck, then confirms that I’ve gotten what I need. Tyson has a gift for pinpointing the missing piece that turns roadblocks into bridges, “Ugh!’ into, “Aha!”
As if advanced instructive skills aren’t enough, I can’t express how much of a relief it is to be able to ask technical questions and get answers! Internet and media skills are a critical component of business and entrepreneurship today. Tyson’s technical background means he can provide perspective and guidance that others simply can’t. He translates the tech into plain English, with impressive patience. I finally feel that I understand what used to be incomprehensible.
Tyson recognizes that success comes out of authentic service. He believes in the win-win-win scenario, when everyone involved benefits, and he practices what he preaches. I have learned a lot in our coaching sessions, and more from observing how he approaches his own business. He sets the example of taking immediate action, intentionally expanding experience, and seeking growth. Tyson genuinely feels that the success of his clients is his own success.
I cannot recommend Tyson Russell highly enough. His guidance is simple, honest, and clear. It is because of Tyson that I am now doing the work that I love.
I went through the process that Tyson Russell taught Today and I’m glad I did.
My January 2021 overview. So that you know I’m working on 2 businesses. The online and the art business.
Out of the 17 things I wanted, I accomplished 16. I didn’t finish only 1 and for a good reason, it needed more time to brew. It will roll over to February. Not a bad start of 2021. I’m having my glass of wine to celebrate, I had no idea I did so much until I sat and reflected.
I suggest you do this process, it really gives you a reality check, sometimes a positive one.
